I love when a brand has a very clear point of view, and The Royal Mahjong Society certainly does. Founder Hilary Ramos is an entrepreneurial girly after my own heart (hello, she’s The Cookie Countess!). When she fell in love with mahj and couldn’t find her perfect set, she designed her very own, and RMS was born.
That first collection was the Newport Collection, a gorgeous nautical set that captures everything Americana and East Coast life is about. I also love the Girly collection, a sweet, soft pastel setup, and her Cottage tiles and mats.
She also created possibly the smartest tile bag on the market if you want to both display and store your tiles: the Royal Tile Bag. Genius. Tie a tilly scarf on it and go about your preppy way!
