Anders Ruff puts original artwork on mats, tiles and accessories, with themed collections that make it easy to coordinate a whole table.
Anders Ruff Design Co. was founded by Maureen Anders Pike and Adria Ruff and is based in Pineville, North Carolina. Their collections include Bams & Bubbly, House of Hydrangea, Mahj in Bloom and Green Light Gatsby, plus a beautiful Christmas collection.
Their newest is Brownstone Bloom, made with the award-winning Indigo Pruitt Design Studio and adapted from a signature wallpaper by designer Marie Cloud. It debuts in The Analog Room of the Real Simple Home 2026, and the moody, painterly florals in olive, rust, terracotta and ochre are unlike anything else in mahjong right now. The tiles are on pre-order, and the matching mat is one of my new favorites.
Their holiday mats are some of my favorites for a festive table. See them styled in my Christmas mahjong guide.

My favorite collection: Bams & Bubbly
Their most popular collection, and a celebration in every piece. Pink and orange with champagne details, and everything coordinates, so you can build the whole table from one collection.
